HammerTech streamlines every step of safety management into a single all-in-one field safety platform
Latest integration sets industry standard for safety with more choice & tech stack compatibility
Construction management software Autodesk Construction Cloud is trusted by builders worldwide
CHICAGO – October 8, 2024 – Safety intelligence platform HammerTech now integrates with Autodesk Construction Cloud®, a portfolio of software and services that combines advanced technology, a builders network and predictive insights for construction teams. Now, project managers can import project information, such as start and end dates, project values, and subcontractor profiles from Autodesk Construction Cloud into HammerTech.
The HammerTech platform is built on the premise that efficient and effective workflows are key to robust safety programs – improving collaboration, productivity and quality by enabling easy access to subcontractor qualifications, expiring permits, licenses and other crucial jobsite information.
The platform’s latest integration with Autodesk Construction Cloud means critical project and employer information is not siloed, but shared between key stakeholders. More connected worksites afford field and office teams with improved collaboration, reduced risks and even more efficient building processes overall.
Ben Leach, Chief Executive Officer at HammerTech, says: “We believe contractors should be able to integrate their chosen solutions across their tech stacks. Our integration with Autodesk Construction Cloud embodies this commitment, ensuring no duplication of safety processes or data split across multiple systems or spreadsheets.”
Mr. Leach continued, “with two best-of-breed solutions for safety and project management working side-by-side, field teams can pro-actively manage safety with all the information needed – accessible on their mobile devices – to effectively run a safe job site.”
“Safety is paramount in modern construction,” said James Cook, director – industry & technology partnerships at Autodesk. “By integrating essential project data managed in Autodesk Construction Cloud with HammerTech, construction teams can enhance decision-making both on-site and remotely, streamlining project management and safety procedures.”
Bell & Associates Construction: "The HammerTech and Autodesk Construction Cloud integration addresses a key problem in the construction industry - it connects contract management and site teams but doesn't split safety processes across multiple tools. It's extremely challenging to track incidents in one system, inspections in another, and worker information in a separate database,” said Michael Vanhooser, CSP – Safety Director, Bell Construction. "With HammerTech, we have everything in one place. Now everyone, including our self-perform crews and subcontractors, can engage with safety processes readily and digitally."
HammerTech has posted impressive growth and now serves over 500 clients worldwide since it was founded in 2013. They include Shawmut Design and Construction, DPR Construction, and other market leaders like Hutchinson in Australia and European contractor John Paul Construction. HammerTech has been used on over 20,000 construction projects worldwide, with more than 4.5 million workers inducted via the platform to date.
The integration expands on the growing integration marketplace for HammerTech.
The platform’s latest integration comes amid an exciting period at the Melbourne-headquartered software firm. Earlier this year saw HammerTech announce US $70 million (AU $105 million) of growth investment from US-based private equity firm Riverwood Capital.
The new capital will spur growth and accelerate research and development, including the integration of AI and other technologies into the HammerTech platform.
